Shiro Kamo Yoru Blue #2 Tall Petty 125mm. "Yoru" means "night" in Japanese and these blades have the nice kurouchi blacksmith finish that bears the name. The tall petty design gives you knuckle clearance in a short, easy to control knife that allows you to cut and mince and chop on your cutting board with ease. Edge sharpness out of the box is excellent. The knives also have nice walnut octagonal handles that are durable and attractive. These are great values from one of the master blacksmiths from Echizen.

Just got this petty today. Came earlier than expected especially this time of year. It’s nice and sharp out of the box. Finished well for the price and has a really smooth handle. The KU finish seems well executed as well. I’ll update this once I’ve gotten a chance to use and sharpen this bad little knife. Thanks cktg you guys are the best!!!
