Gihei HAP40 Knives

We are very fond of the Gihei blacksmith shop and their wonderful products. In business since 1928, Gihei have been pushing the boundaries of knife making with the use of the most modern steels and techniques. HAP40 is a semi-stainless PM steel, which they harden to a very high 65-66 HRC. We have nicknamed this alloy “Voodoo Steel”. The steel takes and holds an extraordinarily fine edge.
