During my last trip to Japan I visited a flatware manufacturer and had the chance to tour their factory. The orignal intent was to check out their serving/plating spoons but they had a few different, nice tweezers available and I thought this particular style would work well for our pro cook customers. The engraving says "Kohetsu" which loosley translates to "be happy" and that is our simple wish when you use them. Measures approximately 4 3/4" or 120mm in length and they are made with an edge on them so they can grab small items for plating or be used for de-boning fish.

Hmmm... look for $15 these are good. Something a little more rigid would be nice. If you put to much pressur won them they twist. They do twist right back again but I know ... I think I'll try the CK2go ones next time they look abit thicker

Sharp, great handeling and grip and they say be happy! I wish it came in a little Japanese box like the knives do but it didn't. Would have been a cool box to add to my collection of fine Japanese blades and the boxes the cane in.

These weren't my first choice, but were closest in price to the set I intended to order. (CKTG seemed to be out at the time.) I've only used them once so far, but have served well pulling bones from salmon fillets. And they fit nicely in my knife roll.
