As always a quality product at a fair price. I only purchase through CKTG since I trust them for quality products. The Konosuke knives never disappoint they are razor sharp and fantastic to use. They are useable art!

I really, really like this blade and I am more of a 180-210mm kind of guy. However, for its size, this is a very nimble knife with a great tip for delicate work. However, delicate this knife is not. It can handle a lot on the the board. It offers an easily sharpened steel that reminds you of carbon with the corrosion resistance of stainless. Edge retention is fair to good, better than much of the carbon that I own but not as good as most PM steel. It will get almost as sharp as white but hold an edge longer. It is, of course a laser and acts as one yet offers fair food release, for what it is. A great all around blade.

I am an experienced cook with a certain amount of knife skill pride. i have several excellent-outstanding knives from top Japanese producers. i have always preferred carbon steel and this is my first purchase of a semi-stainless. This product is outstanding in all respects. Fit and finish are impeccable. Out of box sharpness great and edge holding is remarkable. I have not yet needed to resharpen on my stones, so I cannot comment on its ease of resharpening.It lives up to its reputation as a laser, falling though vegetables, slicing like a yang through meat and fish.'very happy so far.

Couldn't be happier, had this knife since 2014 (less fancy handle, much cheaper 3 years ago) but out of the box I could drop a Roma tomatoes from only two inches into the blade, and cut itself in two. 3 years later, you almost have to intentionally ignore it for it to get dull. I am no sharpening expert, but I can get this knife on my stones to the point where the shaves arm hair pretty easily. no knife I'd rather use in a kitchen for everything.

Favorite knife to use in the kitchen. I was pretty nervous to use this knife during service, due to how ridiculously sharp it is. Great edge retention and the handle is gorgeous. Worth the extra 60 bucks.

Stellar knife. Even with the slightly heavier but beautiful custom handle it is so nimble it will take me some time to get used to. The wonderful world of lasers.. Unfortunately the saya it came with scratches the blade.

There isn't really too much that I can say about the HD2 that hasn't already been said before, but this is my new favorite knife. As a home cook, I end up feeling sad that I don't have more prep work to do cause of how much I enjoy using this knife
