If you want a tall nakiri on a budget, there’s not much point looking at anything else. Fit and finish for the money is crazy good. Edge was paper cutting sharp out of the box, but after some sharpening at home it’s now easily shaving arm hair. We’ll see how long it holds an edge but so far I’m super impressed at just how much knife you’re getting here for the price.

My 3rd order with CKTG and my third Dou Vua knife. 2 santoku (gave one to my son) and a tall nakiri. All the knives are what i expected. These are not perfect finished knives but for the price they are excellent. They sharpen easily to a razor edge. If you are looking to get into carbon steel these are good starter knives. Only regret is i forgot to order the felt knife cover for the nakiri.
All 3 orders arrived quickly and were packed very well.

Great looking rustic hammered finish knife! Got this as an upgrade to my leaf spring tall nakiri. Very nice handle and thin, performs well. Fit and finish was flawless on this one. While this isn't stainless, very little patina to speak of so far.
