The Atoma Slurry Plate 1200 grit is a small plate attached to a nice oak base that can be used to condition your stones and produce a nice slurry on them before sharpening. Measures about 3" x 2".

I use this slurry plate to kick up a slurry and texture my finer stones. It works well for this.
