The Shapton 6,000 grit Glass Stone is a nice final finisher for kitchen knives. It produces a near mirror polish but still cuts steel well. We use these stones in our office for sharpening customers' knives because they're quick cutters, splash-and-go, and very easy to work with. We think you'll enjoy them for the same reason.
