Shake before use

Make sure you shake it before use! Two others have said the same. Test spray on a piece of newspaper once or twice until you get a nice, even spray. It's a suspension, so you want to get the diamond particles well mixed. That said, this works great on the kangaroo strop! Under a microscope, I saw it very quickly smoothed out some scratches and left a mirror polish. I got a tissue paper slicing sharp edge.

Used .25 and .5 micron spray on denim strop as final step on S35VN and 1095 blades. Was very surprised at the added finish and edge. Will continue to use these sprays; until now have not used anything superior.

Works great on a smooth leather strop like kangaroo. I use 1 micron first, then .5 micron. It will take just about any steel the the next level of sharpness. I've found it works best stropping at a shallow angle with really light pressure, too steep and it will round the edge off in a hurry, but if you do it right you can tree top and whittle hair.

Fantastic! I didn't believe it before but I believe it now. I had to get a microscope out (600x) to see that it indeed put a micro, micro, micro bevel on the edge only after a handful of strokes on a kangaroo strop. Make sure you shake it before using.

Cuts hard steel

My blade is made of M390 which I have heard would be a hard steel to sharpen. I just put a couple sprays on the smooth side of my strop and it took my edge to the next level. I expect the spray to last me years of sharpening before I need more. It really help cut the steel well, and only needed about 20 strokes on each side. Shake it well before you use the spray.
