Mr. Okada is one of the founders of Takefu Knife village in Echizen Japan. He is originally a blacksmith of gardening tools such as sickles, hedge shears but he is expanding his offerings to include kitchen knives.
We asked him to follow his popular Takobiki knives with a standard gyuto and here is the result. This is a double-edged gyuto.

Very few knives have truly left me speechless with awe when I first picked it up. Out of the hundreds of fancy knives I have held, it's only happened two times before. This knife was the third.
The mastery of execution in every single step of the process is immediately apparent when you pick up the knife. I'm not sure what to say other than the fact that this is one of the nicest knives I've ever had the pleasure to hold in my hands. It's simply magnificent.
