This handy Shapton Field Holder can store up to 3 shapton glass stones and can also be used as a base for sharpening. It's an excellent accessory to your Shapton Glass stone set. Please note: this holder does not work with the Shapton Professional stones.

I needed a holder and carrier for my 500-2000-6000 combo while on the road. This serves the role perfectly! It holds the stone nice and high, it sticks well and it stores the stones nicely. Yes, you do need a closure strap to hold them all in, but that's not too hard to find, really. It is very good quality. Whether it's worth the price, i'm not sure, but I'd happily pay it again for the role it plays. Also, although it's limited to stones that 210mm long, the holder section has no sides, so it's not limited to the Shapton Glass width of 70mm when sharpening. Therefore the Atoma stones fit very nicely, as will any stone that is 210mm long (of course, it won't fit in the carry section though).

If you use Shapton Glass stones this holder is extremely convenient as a raised base when sharpening. Good knuckle clearance, extremely grippy, and it holds the stone securely while staying out of the way. As long as you're using Shapton stones (or others that fit the precise length) it's super convenient to swap stones with no adjustments required. It also holds three stones in the base which is nice for keeping your Shapton Glass stones organized and consolidated.
My only criticisms of this accessory are: 1) The price. $80 for a glass strip and two chunks of rubber is excessively expensive in my opinion. At 50-75% of the retail price, I'd feel it was more reasonable. But at this price it's harder to justify except in context of the whole Shapton Glass system as a stone storage + base. But that brings me to:
2) It needs a band, strap or other method to actually secure the stones in it for transport, and/or it needs to come with a carrying case. I don't understand the point of a 'field' holder that stores three stones... but with no way to prevent them simply falling out the bottom, and no way to actually transport them in the field. If it came with a case or at least a strap to secure it that would make much more sense to me (and an included case would certainly better justify the price)
Overall I quite like using this holder for sharpening as it's convenient to use & secure but for transport or storage it feels like an incomplete solution at a fairly high price point.
