verified customerThis magnet being slightly more expensive than other neodymium magnets. However, this frictions fits perfectly in the bottom of the Edge Pro. This magnet really does help stabilize knives and is desirable to have in many instances. The only negative is if you have it on and want to deactivate the magnet by pulling the pin on the bottom, the pin can separate from the magnet and it stays active until you remove the knife and press the pin back to the magnet. I think the pin and the magnet are held together by the magnetic force. This means you have to remove the knife first then deactivate the magnet by pulling the pin, then place the knife back on. This is NOT as big of a deal as it seems. The convenience of not having to un tape a separate magnet under the Apex is huge. I highly recommend this addition. Was this rating helpful to you?
